God calls me to pray for my “enemies”, which is tough enough. But I do not feel called by God to always risk my own life or well being to rescue people from the consequences of their own stupid decisions. When to turn toward and when to turn away? Time for the Serenity Prayer…

We often have a similar discussion in small groups. No, being a Christian does not mean that you are a doormat for anyone and everyone to walk all over. Sometimes, manipulative people try the “Christians are nice” card to get you to do something.
